IE Business School’s Dean of Programs, David Bach, has posted an article on the Harvard Business Review blog on the three things he thinks Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt should say when he testifies to the US Senate today.

For the uninitiated, the US senate has set-up an anti-trust sub-committee to see whether Google illegally leverages its position in the market by displaying Google services above competitors’ offerings in internet search results. Competitors, unsurprisingly, say “yes” whereas Google disagrees. Bach draws various similarities between Google and the position Microsoft found themselves in 10 years ago, although he says that Google will be looking for different outcomes than the ones Microsoft achieved last decade.
