International MBA students from November 2009 and April 2010 intakes are experiencing the World Cup in Spain. In the first rounds of this competition most of our students were supporting their countries and we saw them proudly wearing the colors of their teams, but now, red is the color to wear at IE! For the first time in history, Spain is in the World Cup final and International MBA students have the unique opportunity of experiencing the atmosphere of such an incredible event in Madrid. ¡A por ellos! (Go get’em) is the typical football cheer that you hear in the streets of Madrid at the moment.
Spain is in the spotlight around the world and in US “Spain World Cup” is this week’s google search hot topic. Financial spectators have commented that this football success will also benefit the Spanish economy and in particular Spanish companies with an international client base. What do you think?
