GMAT announces the Next Generation of the GMAT exam to debut in June 2012. Those of you looking to apply to the International MBA 2011/2012 academic year will not be affected, as the change implementation requires a great deal of planning and preparation to ensure the question quality and impact are consistent and effective. The addition of the Integrated Reasoning section is geared towards key skills that top managers need in today’s changing business environment. GMAT will incorporate questions with the aim to have applicants create solutions, as opposed to simply selecting the correct answer.

This is only the beginning in the evolution of selection criteria to ensure identification of well rounded managers with depth in their skill set.
