Hello, I am Mike Margarucci an American student who began studying the International MBA in November 2009 and recently started a Masters in Supply Chain and Logistics at the MIT-Zaragoza Logistics Center as part of an innovative Dual Degree program with IE Business School. With my professional background in logistics and international trade I began searching for a graduate program that would allow me to take my career to the next level. I found the dual degree program between IE and MIT which I hoped would give me general management skills combined with specialized supply chain knowledge in an international environment.
The program has by far exceeded my expectations. Educationally, IE provided a solid wide ranging base of business management while giving me opportunities to work with students from all over the world. The MIT-Zaragoza program so far has given me the unique opportunity to study my specific area of interest in further in depth.
Personally, I have found the experience of studying and living in such an international environment to be a life changing experience. Professionally, I have developed a network of professionals from six continents and now have two great Alumni networks of IE and MIT to utilize as I begin to focus on my job search. Overall, it has been an amazing year and I highly recommend the program to any students interested in logistics and supply chain management.
