Max Olivia, Associate Director of Social Impact Management

IE Business School was recently ranked 3rd in the world by the Aspen Institute’s “Beyond Great Pinstripes” ranking. This ranking recognises the best MBA programs for teaching environmental and social sustainability, an area that has been a core focus at IE for a long time. Indeed, in a recent article on TopMBA.com Max Oliva, Associate Director of Social Impact Management at IE Business School says that the recession in 2009 has encouraged more business schools to take up this discussion and think about ways that business can discover opportunities in this new environment:

“Faculty, students, companies, we all have to rethink the way we do business. In the next 5, 10, 20 years, we need to reinvent it. We need to take this seriously and invite and challenge one another to play a part in the conversation on sustainability.”
