Virtual sessions are always a good opportunity for prospective IE students to receive more in-depth information about IE Business School, its programs, core values and other aspects through back-and-forth interactions. Furthermore, prospective students get the chance to listen to former or current IE alumni and ask questions regarding their IE experience, their recruitment processes and for advice of how to approach the procedure for admission, among other matters that are unclear.

The virtual session this Tuesday focused on IE’s prestigious International MBA and Master in International Management programs. The Q&A part of the virtual session was spearheaded by Zubin Chagpar – a former IE alumnus and entrepreneur that is currently working on a venture aiming to change the way we discover our information at Mashpan; a start-up venture. Zubin, a former employee of Google and VeriSign (now Symantec), earned his MBA in 2011, coming to IE for the international experience, its accelerated MBA program and last but not least to learn Spanish in the wonderful city of Madrid. He participated in the Wharton Global Consulting Practicum and was invited to McKinsey’s annual Service Summit in Athens, Greece during his time at IE. He inspired prospective students with his insights on his IE experience, the IE Venture Lab, career backgrounds and the cognitive dissonance question of getting a job vs. becoming an entrepreneur.

A thank you to all prospective students that attended this virtual session and to Zubin Chagpar, for all his insights and entrepreneurial vision.
