Every adventure begins with curiosity. For the new IE IMBA class of 2013, the adventure started yesterday – with an 8:00am bus and freshly ironed suits.

For the 33rd time, IE Business School welcomed a new blend of young entrepreneurs, innovators and future leaders to become part of its family and shared values. Goals are set high, and visions are sky-scraping.

In an inspiring setting, the beautiful converted monastery of the IE University Campus in Segovia, the students were greeted with speeches from Santiago Iñiguez, the President of IE University and Dean of IE Business School, David Bach, the Dean of Programs, and Pilar Vicente, the Associate Director of Admissions, Full-time Programs, among many others.

The ceremony’s key note speaker was Lucy P. Marcus – CEO of Marcus Venture Consulting and distinguished visiting Professor of Leadership and Governance at IE Business School. As a renowned scholar, professional, teacher and recipient of many awards, she is not only a prodigy of a voice that is setting  an agenda on future proofing boardrooms and companies around the world but also of what IE Business School represents. She inspired the new IMBA class of 2012 with wisdom of integrity & authenticity that embraces diversity as a fountain of knowledge at all time.

As stated in the beginning, adventures start with curiosity – the curiosity of the unknown.

Class of 2013 – welcome and good luck! More photos to come…
