Last Thursday at IE Business School, we had the pleasure to receive the visit of Mr. Xavier Rouland, Country Manager for Peninsula Iberica at EDF and CEO of EDF Fenice Iberica. Electricité de France (EDF) is one of the key players in the Electricity Utilities Sector around the world so it was a pleasure to connect the IE students with such a speakers.
During the Conference, Mr. Rouland presented to the audience the main characteristics and current situation of the electricity market, especially within the EU. Throughout his lecture, the CEO of EDF Fenice Iberica gave us a clear and detailed picture of the issues and challenges that the energy companies are confronting.
After the conference, we had a networking cocktail in which the students had the possibility to talk with Mr. Rouland in a more direct way.
